A 2013study, for example, published in The Journal of the National Cancer Institute, evaluated the association between high- and low-fat dairy consumption and mortality after breast cancer diagnosis. A total of 1,893 women and their dietary habits were evaluated. The conclusion: "overall dairy intake was positively related to overall mortality"
